About Me

I am a journalist, editor, and public relations/strategic communication expert with over 20 years of
experience telling Nigeria’s story while helping organisations communicate effectively. Currently, I serve
as Assistant Editor at THISDAY Newspapers and Editor of the weekly column ‘Crime and Punishment’,
where I oversee editorial content, mentor reporters, and shape narratives that inform, educate and
engage for impact.

My career blends traditional journalism excellence with modern strategic communication expertise. I have
built a portfolio spanning high-profile interviews, in-depth features, corporate storytelling, and consultancy
work for local and international organisations rooted in shaping public policy, enhancing visibility for
impactful projects and mapping effective communication directions. I help institutions craft messages that
resonate, manage crises proactively, and build reputations strategically.

I hold a Master of Communication Arts degree from the University of Ibadan, an eDiploma in Effective
Organisational Communication from Harvard University, an Advanced Certificate in Strategic
Communication from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, The Netherlands and
a Certificate in Crisis Communication from the International School of Communication, London.

My work has taken me across Africa, America, Europe, and Asia, covering international forums, World
Bank/IMF meetings, UN conferences, and capacity-building initiatives that integrate global best practices
into Nigerian media and communications.
